I feel my brightest, most full when I'm implementing these things into my daily life. Keep in mind that different things work for different people, I am sharing my formula with you guys because I have found it to be extremely helpful and that is why I'm here, to share and be of service in any way I can. As a woman, you know that one day you'll get to this point in life and it's exciting to think about that but let me tell you, nothing beats the real experience! Steve proposed back in January in the most amazing way, you can watch our proposal video here, and now we are in the middle of planning our dream wedding! For the most part, the last few months were spent researching where we would want to tie the knot, who the photographer would be (duh!) and finding an amazing wedding planner to help bring our vision to life!
The sky was bright blue that day, the air was chilled and crisp, a lot of sunshine to light the way and make the colors pop but also the right amount of coolness in the air to keep us from burning up. I gotta tell you, Joshua Tree National Park is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.
I spent a bit of time traveling to New York and Los Angeles recently, mostly for work to shoot a campaign for FHONE, which was super, I can't wait to show you guys more about that experience! During my time in LA I did a fun collaboration with Marianna Hewitt, a beauty and lifestyle blogger.
During the second half of my trip to Colombia, the Journey group and I headed to a nearby island called Tierra Bomba, this is called the integration part of the Journey where we get to relax, reflect and get to know one another on a deeper level. We also got to explore the island, take part in fun activities and sip Cartagena Mules by the pool, this was our drink of choice, it fell from the heavens and tasted like magic!
We arrived in Colombia on a Friday afternoon, the evening was spent pretty freely, getting to know the fellow Journeyers and later we enjoyed a lovely welcome dinner. The feeling of anticipation was present the whole evening, some of us had a hard time falling asleep that night, not fully knowing what the next two days would bring
